Navigating the home screen
Your home screen is a dashboard you assemble yourself: a fixed block at the top — your collection, a search field and your headline numbers — and below it nine sections you can drag into any order, or switch off entirely.
The top of the screen
Section titled “The top of the screen”On iPhone with iOS 26 or later, your collection name sits in the top left with a badge for its plan — tap it to switch collection. Top right are the Notifications bell, badged when something is unread, and your profile photo. Tap the photo for My profile & reviews, Customize home, the Help Center and Settings, which holds Collection settings and Account settings.
iPhone: Home → your profile photo → Settings → Collection settingsOn iPhone with an older iOS, the collection name opens the collection switcher, and top right are the bell, an eye that hides your values, and a gear menu holding Account settings, Customize home and the Help Center. On iPad the same controls sit in the bar across the top of the app, with your profile photo opening Profile and Settings.
Below that, Search all wines searches your whole collection and our wine database, and the camera icon inside it goes straight to scanning a label.
Then your two headline figures, Bottles and Market value. Tap ⋯ beside Market value for Hide values / Show values, which blurs every figure on the screen, and About market value, which explains how the total is worked out. If the tile is missing altogether, Hide Market Value has been switched on in Collection settings — that applies to everyone sharing the collection, not just to you.
Add, Remove, the scan button and More
Section titled “Add, Remove, the scan button and More”Add and Remove sit directly under your stats. On iPhone with iOS 26 or later, the round button at the right of the tab bar is a camera: tap it to scan a label. Everything else lives on the More tab, a grid of tiles: Add, Remove, Scan receipt, Create purchase, Purchases, Create review, Create list, Create menu and Tap CellarSticker.
To rearrange the tiles, tap Edit, or press and hold a tile until they wiggle, then drag them where you want them and tap Done. The order is saved on the device.
On iPhone with an older iOS, the tabs are Home, Collection, Explore and Profile, and a More button beside Add and Remove holds Create Review, Create Wine List and Tap CellarSticker.
The nine sections are yours to arrange
Section titled “The nine sections are yours to arrange”This is the part most people never find. Everything below the stats is a list you control.
iPhone: Home → your profile photo → Customize home → drag to reorder, or toggle a section offOn an older iOS, Customize home is in the gear menu instead. Reset on that screen puts the original order back and returns any cards you have dismissed. The arrangement is saved on the device you set it on.
| Section | What it holds |
|---|---|
| Quick filters | A row of pills, one per saved filter. Edit opens the full list |
| Cellars & fridges | A card per storage with its bottle count, open slots and a button to view it in 3D |
| Ready to drink | Every bottle currently inside its drinking window. All N btls opens the whole list |
| Upcoming Deliveries | Your next three pending deliveries, soonest first. Tap one to open its purchase. Add New starts a purchase; View all purchases opens the full list |
| Saved Lists | Your hand-picked lists, plus a card at the end to start another |
| Past Bottles | Recently removed bottles. Tap one for what you drank and what you wrote. View all opens the Past tab of your Collection |
| Recent Activity | The last few things that happened. View all for the full log |
| Analytics | Charts of your collection. ⋯ holds Refresh and Reorder Data |
| Plans and tips | Dismissible cards, including one that emails you a link to the web app |
A section with nothing in it yet hides itself, so Quick filters, Ready to drink and Past Bottles only appear once they have something to show.
Asking Vincent
Section titled “Asking Vincent”The Ask Vincent bar above the tabs opens a chat with the AI sommelier, which answers from your actual bottles. It steps aside while the More tab is open. The microphone beside it dictates your message into the chat rather than sending it straight away, so it has its own article.
- Meet Vincent, your AI wine assistant — what it can and cannot do
- How to use voice commands — dictating into the chat box, and hearing replies read aloud
On Android and the web
Section titled “On Android and the web”From version 1.7.0, Android’s home screen matches the iPhone: the same header with the Notifications bell and your profile photo menu, the same nine sections, and Customize home in that menu. Its tabs are Home, Collection, a camera button, Reviews and More.
On app.invintory.com the same screen is called Dashboard, and its order is fixed. It carries Collection details, Cellar and fridges, Ready to drink, Upcoming deliveries, Saved lists and Recently removed — Analytics, Activity, Past bottles and Purchases live in the left-hand nav instead.
Next steps
Section titled “Next steps”- Welcome to InVintory — the tabs, the first three things to do, and where everything else lives
- Understanding your collection page — the Collection tab, and how to search, filter and sort it
- How to create a quick filter — how a pill gets onto that first row
