    CellarTracker Alternatives: Cellar Apps Compared

A woman looks at her smartphone at a restaurant table, with a glass of red wine in the foreground.

What is the best alternative to CellarTracker?

It depends on what you want to change. VinoCell suits you if you want to stop paying a yearly subscription and keep drawn rack layouts on iPhone and iPad, and OENI suits you if you want a 3D cellar view in a free to download app. If CellarTracker's community tasting notes are the reason you use it, no alternative replicates that community.

Facts below were checked on each app's own site, support pages or App Store listing on 1 November 2026, except where a date is given. Prices change, so confirm before you buy.

What does CellarTracker do that these apps do not?

CellarTracker's strength is its community. Its support page says free members get access to millions of community tasting notes and community wine ratings, and that you can track your cellar inventory for free. Subscribers add wine prices, automatic cellar valuation, drinking windows with enhanced coverage, unlimited receipt recognition, drinkability alerts, printable barcode labels, restaurant style wine lists and the CellarChat AI.

Which apps are the best alternatives to CellarTracker?

VinoCell: for iPhone and iPad users who want a one-time price

VinoCell is a paid iPhone and iPad app built around a detailed personal record with drawn rack layouts.

Platforms: iPhone and iPad, with sync across devices through your VinoCell account.

Price: A one-time purchase, listed at $9.99 in the US App Store.

Scanning: Its listing describes searching a database of over 175,000 wines or adding wines by hand, and does not describe label scanning.

Drink windows: Its listing does not describe automatic drink windows.

Export: CSV and Excel import and export, plus PDF export.

OENI: for collectors who want a 3D cellar in a free to download app

OENI is a cellar app that pairs a 3D wine cellar with an AI sommelier and monthly market price updates.

Platforms: Its App Store listing covers iPhone and iPad, and its site lists Android and web too (checked 23 October).

Price: Free to download with in-app purchases. Its US App Store listing showed in-app purchase options from $34.99 to $89.99 on 1 November.

Scanning: Its listing describes scanning bottles into a directory of more than 400,000 bottles.

Drink windows: It lists aging phases and a peak date for each bottle.

Export: The pages we checked do not list the file formats.

InVintory: for collectors who want to see where every bottle is stored and what it is worth

InVintory is a cellar app that maps storage in 3D on its Premium and Elite plans and tracks the market value of each bottle.

    Platforms: iOS, Android and web.

Price: Free for unlimited bottles. Premium is $149.99 USD a year, billed in CAD for Canadian users, and Elite is quoted individually.

Scanning: You can scan a label with your camera or search its database, and Premium adds receipt scanning and a wine menu scanner.

Drink windows: Ideal drink windows are included on every plan, and you can adjust them.

Export: CSV export is included on the Free plan, and you can also export to PDF.

Import: InVintory says you can import from CellarTracker, Vivino or a spreadsheet.

    Is CellarTracker worth it?

It is worth it if you use the community notes, valuation and alerts, and the free version may be enough if you only track bottles. Tracking your cellar and the community notes and ratings are free, and the subscription adds the features listed above, according to its support page.

How much does a CellarTracker subscription cost?

A CellarTracker subscription costs from $40 to $500 a year in USD, depending on cellar size. Its support page, last updated 15 October 2026, lists $40 for up to 100 bottles, $60 for up to 250, $80 for up to 500, $160 for up to 1,000, $320 for up to 2,500 and $500 for more than 2,500.

The page says you can choose a different payment amount, that there is no penalty for exceeding your tier, and that all payments are in US dollars. It also offers a free 14-day trial when you subscribe through Apple's in-app subscription in the iOS app, which converts to a paid monthly subscription unless you cancel.

Which is better, Vivino or CellarTracker?

They do different jobs. Vivino is built for scanning and buying wine, and CellarTracker is built for tracking a cellar. See CellarTracker vs Vivino and Vivino alternatives for wine collectors.

What is the best app to track a wine cellar inventory?

The best fit depends on your device, budget and how much you want from the app. For the wider field, see Best Wine Apps in 2026.
