This week, InVintory launched its newest high-end tier, Opus. A leap above its existing products, Opus is effectively a smart home solution for wine cellars. InVintory builds a custom 3D model of a wine cellar down to the exact wooden case or magnum bottle, which is unlocked on an iPad that is stationed at the cellar door. This allows customers to easily and visually find any bottle at the tap of a button.
To discuss this new product and talk about InVintory more generally, founders Jeff and Josh Daiter (father and son) joined Yule for an in-person interview at Jeff's condo in downtown Toronto.Learn how Jeff - a retired physician - was inspired to create InVintory after an incident that saw the very bottle he was trying to find in his cellar smash to the floor, and hear how Josh responded to Jeff's request for help and built a rudimentary app over a short family holiday. The trio also delve into the ethos underlying the company and where they envision it heading in the future.
We have a worldwide network of hand-selected, certified dealers to get you set up on Opus.
We work with external dealer partners specializing in wine cellar management to ensure you have the option to experience the most seamless onboarding and set up possible.
We will connect you to the closest dealer near you to come to your wine cellar in-person and set up your collection, so you never have to lift a finger.
Our dealers act as your private wine cellar manager to provide support for the specific needs of your cellar. Depending on your unique cellar needs, this can include tailored in-home optimization of your wine cellar’s organization, manual cataloging of every wine bottle in your collection, so the real-life collection matches your virtual wine cellar inventory, down to the specific bottle, personalized walkthrough of our wine cellar management software and best practices for how to use the platform, and/or ongoing management support to keep your collection organized.
If you would prefer to proceed without a dealer, you can absolutely choose to self-onboard your wine collection.
We look for individuals and companies in the industry who are highly knowledgeable about wine and can offer our collectors the exclusive, concierge service they deserve.
