Wine collectors are always looking for deeper insight into the bottles they already own, from structure and grape composition to drink windows and regional detail. That's why we’re excited to introduce Wine Guide, a new feature designed to make exploring your wine's details easier in InVintory.

Available on both iOS and web, Wine Guide enhances the way you view and understand each bottle in your collection, giving you better context at a glance and deeper insights when you want them. With Wine Guide, wine detail pages now feature a more visual, streamlined layout with expanded information, all in one place.

For each wine in our database, Wine Guide includes:

  • Wine structure
  • Grape varieties
  • Drink window
  • Decanting specifics
  • Food pairings
  • Market value
  • Region and producer details
  • And more

Whether you’re reviewing a bottle you’re about to open or revisiting one from your collection, Wine Guide makes it easier to explore the details that matter most.

To access Wine Guide in InVintory:

  • On iOS: Tap on a wine, then select Wine Guide
  • On web: Go to the Collection tab, select a wine, then open Wine Guide

Alongside Wine Guide, we’ve also made improvements to how Custom Fields and Photos work across iOS and web, making them easier to access, manage, and view.

On iOS:

  • Custom Fields and Photos can now be added and edited from the More menu on each wine
  • If a Custom Field is populated, it will now display directly on the wine’s label detail page

On web:

  • Custom Fields and Photos now appear as columns in your Collection list
  • You can create a new Custom Field by selecting a wine, then choosing More → Custom Field
  • Photos can now be added directly within the Collection list

These updates are designed to give you more clarity, flexibility, and control as you manage your collection. As always, we’d love your feedback as you explore Wine Guide and the latest InVintory improvements.

Happy collecting!
